I’ve been super busy, but I will get around to a post soon. In the meantime, kittens!

I’ve been so insanely busy recently I can’t believe it’s March already. It also reminds me that I am staring down my last birthday in my 20’s. Which, when I think about it is just crazy to me. I suppose I just always thought I would have some moment where I really just became an adult. Instead it’s just been a slow easing process. I also don’t feel like I’m almost 30 yet, so that’s a plus right?
So what have I been busy with? Well I recently accepted a job offer at a local sterling silver wholesaler and retailer, to work on there online store, eBay listings, marketing, and expansion into places like Amazon. I’m super stoked about the opportunity for a ton of reasons. Bill also got a new office job as a database manager at a local medical supply company. And those two facts lead us to the next bit of busyness.
We joined a gym. Bill brought it up when he started his new job since he is sitting all day now and he doesn’t want to put on a ton of weight. So we toured several local small gym and rec centers and finally decided on the Rec Center in Tallmadge. Granted we have to pay non-resident rates, but the atmosphere was a million times better to us then the Kent fitness center. It has a nice family vibe to it and the only thing it was lacking for me was a pool. But we joined last week and I’ve gone almost everyday so far. I’m doing a combo of half an hour to an hour of cardio (elliptical, precor, walking) and half an hour of weight lifting. Generally Bill and I lift weights together, and then he goes downstairs to shoot hoops while I jump on the elliptical for 30 minutes and then I do anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes on the precor.
I’m pretty excited about it though. We’re hoping to go a minimum of 3 days a week, up to 5, maybe more depending how we feel. I’m using my week off well though and I went this morning and spent 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on the precor and then I’m meeting Bill up there after he is off work to lift and then do some more cardio.
I have to pack in my gym time too because this coming weekend I’m going to be working a celtic jewelry trade-show with my new job, and then Monday I officially start.
All in all a great start to March. Started going to the gym, raiding 2 days a week, reading at least a book a week, and starting a new job I am super excited about. Lets see if I can keep this pace up, cause it feels awesome.
