For my January RESOLVE Peer-led Support Group Meeting I chose the topic of self-care. In large part I picked it as it’s been something I’ve been working on for the past several months. It also goes well with a lot of peoples New Years resolutions to make big life changes. Self-care is frequently overlooked in our day to day lives, but it’s one of the easiest and most important things we can do for ourselves.
My self-care checklist has been:
- Starting to practice yoga
- Back on the diet bandwagon
- Reading more frequently
So far I have been pretty successful.
