Things have become quite ordinary around here. Hence the lack of updates. Well, kind of. Lots of things happen, but by the end of the day I’m so tired from working, running around, playing with now 3 dogs, 8 cats, a rabbit, and 3 ferrets that I just crash into bed.
Big news for me though is that I passed a big test at work on Friday. I am now a Certified Google Adwords Professional. I barely passed, but considering all of my study time ended up being taken up by Dustin being hospitalized with an asthma attack for a day, I’m pretty damn proud. Next up is the Analytics test in a couple weeks time.
On the home front Robert and his girlfriend Leslee moved in last weekend. Hence the rise in the pet count. They have 5 cats and 3 ferrets. All of which are adorable. The cats are all getting along surprisingly well, which makes me pretty happy.
The dog count is another story altogether though. I came home from work Tuesday of last week to find a severely malnourished pitbull mix dog tied to the tree in our backyard. Turns out Bill saw her wandering in our backyard, so him and Leslee went out and got her. We have her tied to the tree in the backyard outside the fence with the doghouse. Not sure what we’re going to do with her in the end, but for now we are fattening her up and playing with her. She’s a really good dog, very affectionate, playful, and non-aggressive. However, we’re sure she needs fixed and of course all of her shots. Not to mention we already have 2 medium sized dogs, and once she puts the right weight on we are guessing she will be upwards of around 70 lbs.
We’ll see what happens. For now though she is quite content in our backyard with 5 people to lavish attention on her.
Next weekend we’re throwing a big Memorial Day party on Sunday. We’re inviting damn near everybody we know over for a BBQ and bonfire. Should be fun! Haven’t done a family style cookout in years, so I’m really looking forward to taking advantage of all this space to do so throughout the summer.
